The 2008 Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show is now history... and our Madison Avenue Morgans were wonderful in their performances! We thank the Dragonfire team for getting us into the ring on time, in perfect order and perfectly prepared. Our beautiful black Renegade Rose made quite the splash in her very first trip to Oklahoma City. Rose was the World Champion Futurity Hunter Pleasure Three Year Old in a very competitive class! We were also thrilled with Merriehill The Lion King's outstanding performance which culminated in his Reserve World Champion Ladies Western Pleasure title with Jennifer McFall up, after capturing the Grand National Championship in their Geldings qualifier.

Morgan Medallion Regional is a smash hit for Madison Avenue! Our Santa Barbara contingent came home with tricolors galore, and we couldn't be more pleased. Click on the photo of Let's Boogie and Sandra Nelson at right to read see the photos and our results On Stage...
Highlights include Reserve Jr. Champion Mare and 1st Yearling Fillies for Manhattan Society Girl (presented by Gerry Rushton), Champion Ladies Western Pleasure with Jenny and Reserve Champion Amateur Western Pleasure with Sandra for Merriehill The Lion King, Reserve Champion Open Western Pleasure for Grand Cru Beaujolais and Earl McFall, Champion Junior Horse Hunter Pleasure for Renegade Rose and Jenny McFall, and of course we can't forget Sandra and Let's Boogie's outstanding performance as they topped a competitive Amateur Hunter Pleasure Championship. |

| Melissa buys new shoes! Melissa Hart and Michael Votaw selected Miss Ruby Slippers (Grand Cru Beaujolais x Carlyena), a stunning chestnut 2007 filly, as their next project. We are thrilled that this special filly will be staying within the Dragonfire family! |

| Far West was Far Out! Not only did we have a terrific show with Merriehill The Lion King and Let's Boogie, but we also brought home a stunning black three year old mare, RENEGADE ROSE (Santa Fe Renegade x Celilo Melissa Rose). Rose captured the Jr. Hunter Pleasure Championship after kicking off the show with a blue ribbon in the Three Year Old qualifier. Thanks to sisters Katie Hoover and Kasey Monte for breeding, raising and seling us such a beautiful young mare. |
